Art. What is art? Each person will define art in their own unique way. To me art is an exploitation of deviation. What attracts me to art is that it provides me with an expressive outlet to freely convey my audacious view point of how I see the world, no matter how simplistic or complex the subject may be. I see perfection in imperfection. My pieces are projections of the unchartered inner self. I tend not to graze the traditional fields of inspiration. I derive inspiration from enhancing the qualities in my paintings in an exaggerated manner.
I paint with a vivid bold pallet that parallels my assertive personality. I am rough around the edges, and I reflect that in my art with a raw intentional clumsiness. Wether it’s depicting a placid landscape through the youthful lens of innocence, or a portrait that exposes and exploits the inner hue of ones soul, I infuse my paintings/art with a truthful overtone that is both unfiltered and uncompromising. This approach allows me to stay true to the portrayal of the vision which I wish to convey.
My unruly approach tends to disobey conventional artistic methods that are prevalent in traditional art. My methods include using diverse and abstractive chromaticism to achieve a dynamic take on what would otherwise be considered to be carbon copy. Like a transient hermit crab in pursuit of its next temporal dwelling, my style too is continually changing and evolving. There are limitless boundaries to where my art will go.
